Oriental Energy & Power Generation Corp.

The company has already started the construction of Timbaban Run-off River Hydro Power Plant Project in Barangay Ma. Cristina, Madalag province of Aklan. The Department of Energy, through its Renewable Energy (“RE”) Management Bureau, has awarded a total of five (5) renewable energy service contracts (“RESCs”) to Oriental Energy Power and Generation Inc., all of which are hydro power projects. This cements the foothold of the company in moving to green energy. The company’s five (5) renewable energy service contracts are: The 18 MW(1) capacity Timbaban Hydro Project based in Barangay Ma. Cristina, Madalag, Aklan with service contract no. 2009-09-001 signed on September 14, 2009. The 10 MW Culaman hydro project in Maluko, Manolo Fortrich, Bukidnon with service contract no. 2010-02-061 signed on February 1, 2010. The three (3) cascade (10 MW, 9MW & 3MW) Odiongan Hydro Project in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental with service contract nos. 2010-02-62, 2010-02-063 and 2010-02-064 signed on February 1, 2010.
